We are looking for a Real Estate Sourcing and Acquisition Manager who would join the company as part of our growing Real Estate team and who is capable of playing a major role in growing the department and the company.

Bricksave is a fast-growing PropTech startup that helps individuals invest in global real estate investments through an efficient international and fully automated, transactional platform.
We currently have offices in London, New York, Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires, with team members based remotely in Switzerland and Argentina.

The Role
This is an exciting role for an ambitious real estate professional. As a Real Estate Sourcing and Acquisition Manager, you will support the Real Estate team sourcing, identifying, and transacting residential investment opportunities across the designated locations in the US market. This leading role will leverage Bricksave’s best-in-class platform to conduct acquisitions in dozens of properties a month.
Reporting to the Head of Real Estate.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for sourcing, selecting, underwriting, biding on, and acquiring residential properties in target locations in the US market via off market, MLS, and other channels.
- In line with monthly targets, underwrite and acquire homes that align the highest underwriting standards and company investment objectives.
- Continuously learn and penetrate new real estate markets and determine ideal location suitable for development according to Bricksave’s investment strategy.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of Bricksave’s business model requirements to assist in targeting and securing the right properties, proactively ensuring competitive advantage is gained across off-market opportunities.
- Work closely with agents, lawyers, transaction team and finance teams throughout the lifecycle of a real estate acquisition.
- Manage property agents to identify and deliver targets - building a network of regional contacts through agency, landlord, contractors, and property managers to drive numbers of acquisitions across various geographies.
- Assist transaction management team liaising with contractors and overseeing renovation works across new acquisitions.
- Conduct and conclude deal negotiations, ensuring proactive communication and liaison across all parties with upmost values and ethic.
- Ensure acquisitions are progressed at the maximum pace consistent with professional due diligence to deliver targets.
- Continually foster positive working relationships with property agents, contractors, lawyers, property managers and other parties, to secure continuously new opportunities.
- Leads and participates in process improvement and platform enhancement efforts.
- Valuate properties using MLS and analyse data and trends to proactively identify and acquire profitable properties.
Required Skills/Qualifications and Experience
- Good geographical knowledge of assigned Real Estate market generally with a strong emphasis on Bricksave’s business model and investment criteria.
- 3+ years of real estate acquisitions experience.
- Bachelor degree required.
- Construction management experience is a plus.
- In depth understanding of real estate finance and property-level underwriting.
- Well-networked individual within real estate sector in the designated areas.
- Deal maker and skilled and tactful negotiator, effective in a variety of scenarios.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Some travel required.
- Other languages preferred.
