Main Purpose and Scope

We are looking for someone who has a passion for website technologies and has a strong willingness to learn to join our rapidly growing team. The successful candidate would report directly to the CTO.

Responsibilities

• Write clean and efficient code whilst following the latest software development practices
• Work closely with our design team to implement visual design changes
• Keep up to date with the latest technologies and apply them into company operations
• Create and maintain accurate documentation

Requirements

• Proven experience in modern website development technologies
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript including libraries such as Bootstrap and jQuery
• Knowledge of using source control technologies such as GIT
• Familiar with writing emails in HTML format for use in email templates
• Familiar with Python and the Django framework
• Basic knowledge of search engine optimisation
• Basic knowledge of server-side technologies such as Apache and MySQL
• Strong organisational skills and be able to complete multiple tasks at the same time within the constraints of deadlines and budgets
• Able to manage your own workload and meet strict deadlines
• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
• Basic UI/UX design skills
• Superb written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent with MacOS
